If you want to cut your own hair, invest in a good pair of clippers. Adjustable ones are better because you can cut different lengths and even shave with them. Wahl, Andis, and Oyster Pro are good clippers and usually run from $25-$50. Make sure it's the set which includes guards #1 to #4, clipper oil, comb and clipper brush. When you cut your hair, it helps to do it in front of a mirror. Comb your hair in the direction you'll cut it. Using your choice guard, cut hair in same direction, until hair is even.(hint: going against hair grain results in shorter cut). For the sides, if you want them lower, switch back to lower guard and do the same. After you've done it once or twice, you'll find it's very easy and you can cut it to your liking. Just be patient.How difficult is it to cut your own hair with clippers?
Hi,
Great question : {
I've cut my own hair for 2 years and yep it looks great!
Have you heard of Robocut Vacuum Clippers?
I just dial in the length I want and vacuum my head.
No mess, no clippings, yes a foolproof haircut : )
